Stayed at this hotel day before Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very friendly. The only complaints We could possibly have was room doors didn't have a good seal so you could hear people out in the hallway, but it was not a problem at night, still got a good night sleep. Great location. It was worth the money.

The hotel has been totally refurbished since we were there some years ago. My bedroom was very comfortable. Everything that should have worked did, TV, clock radio, etc. The staff was always courteous and helpful. They no longer serve breakfast, but there are so many cafes/restaurants in the neighborhood that it was no problem. The location is two blocks off Union Square and the Cable Car. I had an exceptionally good price which made it doubly attractive. I would stay there again.

Great location. Took BART from SFO to downtown and hotel was within 2 blocks. This saved about $* in cab fare. Hotel is clean, bed comfortable, bathroom a good size. This is a great hotel for a tourist who will probably not be spending too much time lounging in the room. Can't say I think it's a good hotel for smaller kids or for someone craving tranquility -- it is a great value and better than many pricier hotels I've used. Would definitely stay again.
