We booked directly on the Days Inn site and received a booking confirmation (INCLUDING CONFIRMATION NUMBER) only to find the hotel CANCELLED our reservation without telling us AND charged our card. I called to double check our confirmation 3 days before our trip!! HORRIBLE and DISGUSTING!!! Should be shut down for illegal practises!

Would not stay again the hotel key did not work in the elevator and we had to get three new ones to get in then had to play around with it. The clock did not work the tv remote was broke. Then to top it off they block your car in the parking garage and you have to hunt them down to get out! Reported all propblems including the dirty bathroom and the manager said that we were just complaining and that none of this happened! I wont return to this hotel again when I go back for more tests at the hospital! Its not good enough for even a dog.

The price for this hotel and the location was the main reasons I picked this hotel. It was reasonable cheap. When we got to the room, it was quite small, the carpet seemed very dirty, I feel like I was going to get fungus walking on it. There were blood stains on one of the pillow cases, the remote for the T.V. did not work despite telling the front desk already, you can hear the T.V. from the other room and people walking outside. The room just did not feel clean no matter how much they cleaned it. Despite saying all this, the location was great, mins to the Wharf and all the local attractions.

Actually, the check out date is incorrect as we left before we stayed there. The nasty manager told us, after various lies, there was no room for us, despite a pre-paid, non cancelable confirmed reservation. He then sent us to another hotel, telling us it would honor or reservation, but which did not. The office stunk, the people were dishonest, we were told to go ahead and complain, since they always filled up--no doubt from people desperate to put up with this spiteful, ugly treatment. Avoid!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and will never return. We were in San Francisco for our anniversary trip and our ideas of sleeping in and relaxing were shot down! The hotel was under construction during our stay and we were not notified at all prior to our stay. At 12:30am we were kept awake by other hotel guests being loud outside of thier rooms. Calls to the office were not answered. Called 3 times. We were then woken up at 6:30am on Saturday morning by the construction crew! Calls to the hotel office were never answered (AGAIN) and no one ever said a word to us about it! Upon check out we explained what happened and the clerk just said, "Oh.". Very dissapointing! Will NEVER stay there again!
