I could only see staying at this hotel for one, maybe two nights if you are in a pinch. The shared bathroom situation will not be for everyone, sure isn't for me! the rooms were very small, tiniest I have seen in the U.S. The street noise was present until the wee hours. But for the price, you get what you pay for here. I would stay again but no more than one night.

It is interesting to stay in such an historic building, however, the bed's do not have box springs. Also, the room had a couple of pieces of furniture that were broken. The bathroom shower head was plenty high for a six foot tall person. There is no ventilation. There is a heated wall register that radiated heat and a ceiling fan. The TV didn't have many channels and was missing The Weather Channel. No worries, I looked the weather up on my phone instead. The staff is somewhat aloof to most travel concerns. The one manager told me, I cannot make any exception as I don't run the place. With a room near to the elevator (it beeps as it passes the floor), I asked for a different room if it could be accommodated - the gal acted like this was an inconvenience that I asked... Breakfast... Coffee and one type of small roll. Very unimpressive... All in all, I slept fine but wasn't overly impressed either... If you're into Historic structures, it will be interesting for you. If you want modern conveniences and a more amenities, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great location, close to shopping, transportation, restaurants, movie theater, financial district, etc. The hotel rooms are very small but functional and clean, perfect for us to sleep, shower and go. Yes there is no A/C but you dont need it, there is a ceiling fan and the windows open. The vallet service is wonderful and a bargain for city parking. Hotel staff and front desk receptionists were professional and pleasant (except for one girl who couldnt be bothered to help with a simple request). Overall a very good experience and great value for the city.
