we were in town to watch the 49ers v.s Raiders, and decided last minute to reserve a hotel so that we didn't have to drive home in the middle of the night. after much deliberation and reviewing several hotels, this one was a little more than most, but i am definatly satisfied!!! the room was clean, very nicely decorated and very comfortable, we got a room in the corner of the building so we had two big windows, there was some street noise, but it was tolerable, the parking was kind of expensive at 32.00, however the parking is in the basement of the hotel, and you get in and out privilages, so definatly a good deal since parking in san francisco is extremely expensive. the elevator from the parking garage takes you strait up to the rooms so no need to go outside to get your car. the staff was wonderful, very friendly, there is a little italian restaurant on site, but half a block down there is a denny's and mels, coffee shops, etc... the big shopping mall is right around the corner, bart station is close. i definatly recomend this to anybody who would like to stay at a nice place, and feel safe. the only complaint i had was that the television was older and i was unable to look through the menu to see what movies i could purchase to view, but there were two movie complexes within half a block away, and i wasn't about to become a homebody and stay in :D

My daughter and I picked this hotel for her Senior Prom for her and her friends. We looked at the pictures of the hotel and thought it would be nice for all the kids. (Wrong) When I got there I checked out the rooms and the rooms are so old and out dated, the paint on the ceilings and some of the walls are peeling off. I was very disappointed. I also noticed that the regular prices for these rooms are pretty expensive a night, what a joke. I work in the Hotel/Restaurant business and I'm not a cheap person but for a fraction of the cost I would have done much better staying at the Travel lodge where the beds were even bigger and there was a pool.(we did prom their last year). I think even with a discount we would have done better staying at the Hilton. I do have to say when you walk in to the lobby it's real nice and there's a nice Restaurant inside. The staff is wonderful, professional, polite. I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you are really getting a deal and over look the rooms. I will not return to this hotel. Melvin Peralta

I stayed here for a friends bachelorette party and we had the worst service ever! There was one small mirror in our bothroom, no electrical plugs besides the one in the bathroom. The staff was extremely rude and i suggest that you dont waste your time, money and ruin your vacation staying here!!! We also had to park behind the hotel in a random warehouse with 6 other cars because the lot was full. We were very nervous leaving our car behind a gate that anyone could break into. Not safe

It's hard to beat the location and value for money if you're attending an event at Moscone Center. It's not a big chain hotel experience - it's a nicely renovated older hotel, that combines funky charm with a carpet you shouldn't be afraid to step on. I had a corner room, so it may have been larger than the average, but it was a very good size. No drawer storage for clothes. Good working desk. I've had better WiFi connections, but I've also had worse - it never dropped me.
