Let me be very clear: my husband and I happily stay at the cheapest, most questionable rooms out there to save money on our road trips--we are very hard to disappoint (or disgust), but this place was awful. The parking is impossible, fitting our Escape into this garage was a 10-minute affair of in-out-in-out stuff. We get in there, and they didn't have our web reservation yet... waited 25 minutes. Wandered around till we found our room (this place's layout is a practical joke), and looking down from the 3rd level, saw the gross pool. We live in the country and swim in ponds, and there was no way we were swimming there. Everything was well-worn, and getting a little old--well-worn means "well-loved,", right? Wrong! We get to the room and it REEKED! Immediately went to turn on the AC, and nothing. No prob, we thought, we'll just open this sliding door and let the fresh air in! Wrong again! There was a hole in the screen the size of a dinner plate! We called web, and they got our money back. There's dozens of places to stay in San Fran--don't settle for this one!!!!!

i was a little worried after reading the reviewsbut the room wasnt all that bad.it was relitively clean.I SAW NO EVIDENCE OF BUGS AT ALL!!!!my only issue was that the bed was a little hard.i stayed there for a week at the end of march 2010. i will be there the same time in 2011 and i will definantly stay here.this place has free parking and it is within walking distance from fishermans warfthat alone will save you a boatload of money on parking..

I have stayed at this hotel many times and find the old reviews don't tell the true story about this hotel. The new management have done a great job of cleaning up this hotel and are working on fixing a lot of the problems. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location for the price is unbeatable by any other hotel in the area. You get FREE parking and a limited breakfast for that low price.

They have towels, but you need to ask for it. They have sugar and cream for coffee, but you need to ask for it. They have free Wi-Fi that claims to have 5 bars, but fluctuates so badly that you can't even book your next hotel.

stayed during march 21 to march 27th 2010. The hotel is not bad as it mentioned in the previous reviews. It seems the new management taking more care of customers. Rooms are not bad, no bed bugs. the hotel is old, needs to replace lot of stuff, but still they are running it. Over all if you are looking for a hotel in the medium expenses in a good location, i will recomend this hotel.
