For what you pay you get your moneys worth. The front desk staff is always very rude, on several occasions we called the front desk to try and get towels and a iron and we had to go to the front desk to pick it up because they said that if we wanted something we had to go get it ourselves. At night it is very loud people are always screaming and police cars and ambulances are always speeding by. On the other hand the room was clean and newly renovated but that's about it.

a vacation, as we didn't care for amenities, we booked the cheapest hotel. We arrived around 10pm and wanted to walk out to get a nightcap . We stepped in the elevator and the guy/girl (not sure) jumped in with us very suddenly. He asked were we were headed and was trying to get us to go have a drink in his "room". We politely declined and went to find a bar. We hadn't even made it to the corner of the street when another guy stopped us and asked if we wanted to go do some "crystal" with him, explained that he was "bored", and that he had a hotel room at our motel. Needless to say we walked down about a block and found a decent bar that seemed safe enough. We stepped into the elevator only to find we were standing in a puddle of PUKE!!! We stepped out to take the stairs to find that person we encountered earlier was back and trying to harass us again. We tried to go into the office but they had the door locked. The guy jumped in a car after that and drove off. We alerted the staff to the puke and the guy. They sent a security guy to look around. We smelled weed coming through to our room all night, and several doors stayed wide open through the night with random people walking in/out. We had people knocking on our door in the morning looking for someone. Then there was NO HOT WATER. We moved hotels and the lady said that this motel was safe and that we're just"inexperienced!"

No remodel, extremely noisy, clogged sink, drug users accross the street, baseboard moulding ripped off, cigarette burns on the carpet and around the sink, mould outside the tub, cracks in the walls, TV at a non-adjustable (!) loud volume -- could not have been any worse!!! But - very close to tourist locations if you're not afraid to stay there....

First, I'd like to say that the staff was nice and polite enough. No complaints about them, but...the first room we were put into was awful! A huge water stain and bubbling on the ceiling (looked as if it was going to cave soon), half the phone buttons were gone, the TV showed only snow and when examined, the cable cord was frayed, everything (walls, floor, door,etc) was in need of repair. And no toilet paper! We went down and asked for TP, a channel guide and a room that (at least) had a working TV. The nice lady could not find any toilet paper and said she had to take it out of one of the other rooms. We told her that we would come back after dinner...Came back checked the two other rooms, one reeked of old cigarette smoke and was very musty. The second was the least slummy, so we settled on that. The bed was very uncomfortable, I could feel all the springs poking at my back. Oh, and the elevator smelled strongly of urine. Yeah. We would have left but for the fact that the room was prepaid, it was late, and we needed to be up at 4:30am. No time to find something better.
