The room itself was small but clean. What bothered us is that the main reason I booke the hotel is that they had parking, which is very important tome when I stay south of Market in San Franixco When we arrived we were informed that the car would not be delivered back to us until 3 the next day due to the parade. I asked what we were supposed to do with our luggage until then. She said I could talk to the manager of the parking garage, not caring at all about the situration or even offering much assistance. My feeling is that once the Hotel had learned about the dellay in car delivery they should have made some type of arrangement for guest to store their luggage until the cares where available. In the end I eneded up parking on the street and my car wqas broken intor. In all it ruined my whole stat as we were unable to stay for the parade.

This was a lot of hotel for the money. Rooms and property seem safe and secure. While there are no fancy amenities the staff were competent and very courteous. There was a free light breakfast. The room was not large but I've paid much more for much less. There are smoke alarms but no fire sprinklers. On Saturday night one could hear a little noise from a musical club downstairs but I did not find this bothersome at all. It is near the Tenderloin and there are few stores or businesses of any kind nearby. There are not many people to be seen on the street and many of those who are there appear to be marginalized. However I did not sense anything actually threatening. I did not bring a car with me. I don't know about parking. I would not want to leave a car on the street in that neighborhood. Lax police protection is a problem there and throughout SF.

We chose this hotel based on reviews and ratings by others and the website pictures of location and room setup. Wrong way to chose a hotel. Although the staff (1 person) was polite the room itself was disgustingly dirty and smelly. When we asked to be moved they said they were all book up but this was not true. We called reservations and were told they had rooms available. The bathroom smelled of Pine Sol but it was still dirty with mold on the shower curtain. This room was not suitable for anyone.

Clean, convenient, economical. Not necessarily the best location if you are unwilling to walk to get public transit. Terrible food choices if you get hungry at 2 am. But otherwise a great value hotel with nice staff. We'd stay there again.
